A week ago, Elise and Emily had a snowflake party. I made a visit with some warm chocolate chip cookies. We have so much snow this year, it has really been fun for the Harwards. We've had lots of sub zero weather as well.
It has been a rather tough few weeks around here. It seems like I never have enough time or energy to do anything but the necessities and crisis management. Decided today that I will take the time to blog a little--even if I don't have (or take) the time to make it fancy. One of these days I will take the time to figure out or be taught how to design a really snazzy layout. Until then, I'll try to at least do a little for the couple of people that follow my very sporadic entries.
We have become a game attending family this year. Austin is on Wasatch High's sophomore team and also usually dresses and sometimes plays for Junior Varsity.
I have been to most of the games. The team is really good and almost always wins. He is 6'5" -- I think he grew 5 inches in the last year. Anyway, we are excited for him to work with his team this summer and expect him to do really well in the next couple of years.
He and I spend quite a few evenings watching the Jazz games and the BYU games. GO JIMMER. The assistant varsity high school coach, Mr. Mangum has a son, Logan Mangum who plays for BYU. Some games he gets quite a bit of playing time although he isn't a starter.
Christmas Day, 2011, Park City, Utah. We visited our first great-grandchild. He was born 12/24. What a great gift! He had a tough time for the first day or two, but was able to get off the oxygen and go home with Christian and Debby.
