Had a "Jimmer dinner" for the Sweet Sixteen basketball game. All but the hot dog bar was blue. Braxton was quite put out that I "ruined" all the food by making it blue. (A true U of U fan.) I actually wrote his name in red on a few cookies as a peace offering. His best moment of the night -- when BYU lost.
The Harwards, Alec and I went to see the Ice Castles in Midway this February. It was fun and quite unique. Afterwards we stopped at an old fashioned soda fountain for hot chocolate and fun. Hope some of the other grandchildren can come see them next year.
Christian, happy, proud daddy with little Xadrian Kent Winterton on his blessing day, March 20, 2011. It was stake conference in their stake, but Debbie had family from out of state visiting, so they were given permission to have the baby blessing in the Relief Society room of their meeting house. Grandpa Gerald and Grandma Gloria Day -- great-great grandparents made the trip from St George to attend along with many family and friends. Later Karen and Kent hosted a luncheon at their home. Two grandparents there in spirit--Christian's mom, Tina, and Debbie's dad, Farrell.
The blessing Christian pronounced was perfect.
