Halloween Fun and Missionary Dinner
We held a combination dinner to honor Grandpa Gerald and Grandma Gloria Day before they left for St. George for their 18 month mission. After all, Dad IS only 86. We had as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and their one great-great grandchild attend. Since it was near Halloween, I took advantage of that and planned some Halloween fun. For $4.00 I bought a 16-roll package of toilet paper. The hit of the evening was wrapping the kids into mummies. Top photo Emily, middle Braxton and Xadrian reveling in the discarded paper. We only used 1/3 of the pack, and the kids loved it. (Never mind the chaos.) Anyway, I'm sure we'll do it again. Next time I may have to spend a bit more on the T.P. The cheap stuff's sheets tore very easily which was very frustrating for the wrappers.
Check out the opposite ends of our family tree. Dad looks younger than I do. And Xadrian is the only great-great!
