Bear Lake's Best with the Harwards

Full moon over Bear Lake, September 2013.  Kirk and I invited the Harwards to join our mini getaway, and we hit the jackpot.  The weather was beautiful.

 We had a bunch of happy kids which made it fun.  The pool was indoors and uncrowded.  Elise joined us a day late so she could work etc.  Then Austin joined us the next day.
BYU and Utah had a football game that weekend, so the boys wanted to make sure we knew where there loyalties were.















The first full day we were there was deliciously perfect weather and temperature.

We drove around to the other side of the lake, and the kids (Elise) convinced me to drive on the sand to a great spot on the beach.

The water was so smooth and clear, and the kids had a great time with the muddy sand.

Austin drove up after work to join us.  We took a stroll down the boardwalk.

Austin and Luke actually had fun playing in the back with our silly little toys.  It was just a good time.

The second day the weather was quite a bit colder... we were glad we had gone to the lake the day before.

All in all we just had a really great time!
