Kirk's little flip phone which he has hung onto for ages finally bit the dust. People couldn't hear him talking on it when they called him.
While we were in St. George for the weekend to go to Gloria's 80th birthday party, we stopped by the ATT store and bought him -- gasp -- a smart phone. Since he's been using the ipad to study and prepare his High Priest lessons (and truth be told, playing suduko and majong) as well as downloading library books to listen to, he is a bit more used to the touch screen. Not to say, he (and I) have challenges with it. It's an android, thus quite foreign to me. Thanks to Christian, Braxton, and David, he's got it in working order.
And the girls (ladies) at the Marriott that he works with were delighted to show him some of the features. They grabbed it out of his hands when he showed it to them and promptly began taking selfies with it. Our friend, Kristina, took one of the two of them that I am lucky to have saved. I think it is really cute (yes I said it) of him.
Oh, I'm going to be in trouble for this post, but it's worth it
